TVPP Sales Center

Brown Contracting has completed construction of The Village at Providence Point (TVPP) – Sales Center for National Lutheran and their state-of-the-art Continuing Care Retirement Community. This tenant fit-out includes administrative offices, an event room, a design showroom, and a 2 bedroom Model Unit apartment. The Model Unit is a residential space built right inside the Class A Commercial space and includes high-end residential doors, windows, kitchen, and bathroom finishes. Stand-out design features include TVPP graphics branding, millwork pendant ceiling, one-of-a-kind living wall, storefront glass partitions, and a unique commercial light fixture package.

Council Baradel

Council Baradel

Annapolis, MD 21401

This major office renovation for Council Baradel, Anne Arundel County’s largest law firm, of their Annapolis headquarters was completed by Brown while maintaining quality and meeting budget. The project included re-imaging and re-branding a new reception area, modernized board rooms, and upgraded conference rooms. The design called for custom millwork, an extensive floor-to-ceiling glass partition system, and new lights & lighting controls package.

Woolf & Woolf Optometry

Woolf & Woolf Optometry

A major renovation of Woolf and Woolf Optometry from a dated cedar-sided building to a modern high-end commercial building with exceptional street presence. New construction changes roofline, vaulted ceilings, and adds clerestory glasswork. This complicated occupied phased renovation was delivered on-time, on-budget, and on-quality.

St. Martin’s Episcopal

St. Martin’s Episcopal

375A Benfield Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church and School located in Severna Park, Maryland, was in need of more space to support growth in enrollment. Brown Contracting teamed with school officials, the church Vestry and the project design team to successfully construct a new 13,000 SF middle school building as well as renovations to existing Parish Hall which included new administrative offices. Brown successfully managed the technical challenges presented during the different phases of the project including the connection of an existing building to the new construction dealing with everything from concrete and under-pinning to the difficult task of blending roof systems. Though an occupied renovation, Brown worked closely with school officials and the Vestry in order to ensure no interruption of either church services or school activities throughout the entire project. A necessary rework of the existing storm water management system resulted in the need for additional micro-bio retention ponds, infiltration berms and reforestation.

Samaritan House

Brown completed construction of this three – story new base building, an expansion to the Samaritan House Campus. The new building includes housing for 16 residents with studio apartment-style living quarters, additional capacity for individual and group counseling rooms, life-skills training areas as well as administrative offices. Samaritan House continues to be an important part of our community aiding those struggling with substance abuse issues.

Tidewater Eye Care

Tidewater Family Eye Care

Brown Contracting completed construction of the Tidewater Family Eye Care state-of-the-art optometry practice.  The work included custom millwork and display cabinetry, exam rooms, laboratory, and customer retail area.   The project was a successful collaboration between the client, design professionals, and contractor.

Maryland Judiciary Data Center

Maryland Judiciary Data Center

Brown Contracting provided project and construction management for renovations to the Maryland Judiciary Data Center. This project included consolidation of two data centers into one and a complete renovation of the combined data center. This included demolition of old systems, temporary data center power and cooling through-out construction, new fire protection, new CRAC HVAC units, new electrical service and raised access flooring and installation of computer cabling systems. Relocated and repurposed data center office space into production printing area and 7×24 NOC technician areas. This project was done while maintaining a near clear room environment with data center remaining operational through-out the project.

Ground up construction of a class, a retail/office commercial building. It is located in one of Maryland’s premier marina complexes, Herrington Harbour North. The water front influenced design incorporates dramatic exterior detailing.

Toro Bravo II is located at BWI Technology Park shopping center. Brown Contracting blended old and new materials to build this Mexican Restaurant. The project included a full service commercial kitchen. Plus classic Mexican detour features including custom millwork, imported tile, granite bar counters and decorative painting.

Annapolis Subaru included renovation and facility upgrades to an existing operational dealership. The new Subaru corporate image package included new exterior ACM cladding, slate veneers, all new interior finishes and millwork.
